Job Title: Benefits Specialist

Location: Chester

Remuneration: £22 p/hour

Contract Details: Rolling 12 month contract

Our client is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Benefits Specialist to join their team. As a Benefits Specialist, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end operation of benefits programmes for assigned markets, ensuring efficiency and an exceptional customer experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Understand, interpret, and communicate benefit plan provisions and processes.
  • Drive implementation of new benefit designs and process changes into operations.
  • Execute day-to-day activities related to benefit plan eligibility, enrolments, terminations, and claims.
  • Manage renewals and enrolment windows in partnership with benefits system provider.
  • Review and update system-generated communications and content on the benefits system and HR portal.
  • Research and problem-solve on issues related to benefit programmes.
  • Assist with compliance and governance of all total rewards plans.
  • Specify and implement required benefits system changes.

Must-have requirements:

  • Bachelor\’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • In-depth experience in Benefits Administration.
  • Demonstrated analytical abilities and attention to detail.
  • General knowledge of HR policies, processes, and regional Employment Laws and Benefits legislative requirements.
  • Proficiency in Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, complex, and changing environment.
  • Experience working in a multi-cultural/multi-country work environment.
  • Ability to present complex technical information in a clear and understandable way.
  • Demonstrated continuous improvement mindset.

Ideal candidates would have:

  • Practical operational experience of other HR processes.
  • Experience working within an HR Shared Services delivery model.
  • Experience working with current HR and Benefits enabling systems.

Other Requirements:

  • Proficiency in English required, plus Italian or Spanish preferred.
