Job Title: Benefits Specialist
Location: Chester
Remuneration: £22 p/hour
Contract Details: Rolling 12 month contract
Our client is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Benefits Specialist to join their team. As a Benefits Specialist, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end operation of benefits programmes for assigned markets, ensuring efficiency and an exceptional customer experience.
Responsibilities:
- Understand, interpret, and communicate benefit plan provisions and processes.
- Drive implementation of new benefit designs and process changes into operations.
- Execute day-to-day activities related to benefit plan eligibility, enrolments, terminations, and claims.
- Manage renewals and enrolment windows in partnership with benefits system provider.
- Review and update system-generated communications and content on the benefits system and HR portal.
- Research and problem-solve on issues related to benefit programmes.
- Assist with compliance and governance of all total rewards plans.
- Specify and implement required benefits system changes.
Must-have requirements:
- Bachelor\’s degree or equivalent experience.
- In-depth experience in Benefits Administration.
- Demonstrated analytical abilities and attention to detail.
- General knowledge of HR policies, processes, and regional Employment Laws and Benefits legislative requirements.
- Proficiency in Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, complex, and changing environment.
- Experience working in a multi-cultural/multi-country work environment.
- Ability to present complex technical information in a clear and understandable way.
- Demonstrated continuous improvement mindset.
Ideal candidates would have:
- Practical operational experience of other HR processes.
- Experience working within an HR Shared Services delivery model.
- Experience working with current HR and Benefits enabling systems.
Other Requirements:
- Proficiency in English required, plus Italian or Spanish preferred.
