Experienced in selling SaaS solutions into the buyside? Looking to shape the strategy of a fast-growing, high-impact platform? Here’s your chance to take ownership of a newly launched SaaS product, and make your mark.

About the Company:

I’m partnering with a global data and intelligence business with offices in London, New York, and Shanghai. Over the last nine years, they’ve built a strong reputation across the investment community, supporting hedge funds, asset managers, private equity firms, and VCs through a suite of data platforms and services. They’re now expanding their product portfolio with the launch of a new SaaS platform focused on data procurement and vendor oversight, designed specifically for buy-side firms.

About the Role:

We’re hiring the first dedicated SaaS Sales Director to lead commercial efforts in the UK and EMEA. This is a high-impact individual contributor role with future leadership potential. You’ll take ownership of the go-to-market strategy for this new platform targeting a mix of warm existing accounts and new prospects across the buy-side. You’ll work closely with product to shape the roadmap, act as the commercial voice of the client, and help refine positioning as the platform scales.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Lead full-cycle sales efforts across 100+ mapped accounts, from discovery through to close.
  • Leverage warm relationships built through existing product lines to cross-sell the new platform.
  • Identify and pursue new logo opportunities across hedge funds, asset managers, and private equity firms.
  • Act as the commercial bridge between clients and the product team, ensuring roadmap alignment with buy-side needs.
  • Own and shape GTM strategy, including pipeline development, product feedback loops, and competitor tracking.
  • Represent the solution and company at key industry events.

What We’re Looking For:

  • 6–10 years’ experience selling true SaaS solutions.
  • Strong track record selling into the buy-side (hedge funds, AMs, PE/VC) is highly desirable. Experience in selling procurement, compliance, or vendor management focused SAAS solutions is a bonus.
  • Ability to manage long enterprise sales cycles and influence senior stakeholders.
  • Commercial curiosity and confidence to ask tough discovery questions.
  • Familiarity with alternative data or market intelligence is a plus.
  • Solid CRM hygiene and a structured sales approach (MEDDICC/Challenger/Sandler etc.)
