Review and Core Media Relations
- Arrange reviews at key publications in the UK and Nordics while effectively communicating key product information.
- Additionally, help provide coverage for various other regions in Europe as needed.
- Monitor progress monthly and analyse results based on set metrics.
- Analyse and, if needed, work with corporate HQ to adapt key messages for suitability.
- Visit/engage with key press regularly to maintain good relations.
- Work with Gaming Marketing to organize local activities and event participation.
- Work with Gaming Marketing to devise product campaigns for the UK and Nordics markets (award marketing, pre-rolls, etc).
- Leverage relationships to promote Corsair products and goals via partner activities.
- Arrange consumer reviews at relevant tech-forums.
Samples and logistics:
- Negotiate delivery of samples within the region with local media/partners/distributors.
- Negotiate with CORSAIR hubs and local customs offices if necessary.
- Organize rotation of samples within the region if necessary.
Essential Skills and Experience:
- At least 2 years of applicable work experience in public relations, communications or marketing.
- Completed 4+ year education in marketing, communications, public relations or similar.
- Exceptional written communication skills.
- Deep knowledge of Gaming marketing (PC and console) and consumer technology markets.
- In-depth knowledge of PC hardware, especially keyboards, mice and headsets.
- Experience in building and upgrading PCs is a plus.
- Proven history of demonstrating good judgment and effective budget control.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
- Comprehensive regional media contacts book, including enthusiast technology, consumer technology, and PC gaming press.
- Be able to handle multiple simultaneous tasks and tight deadlines.
- Fluent in English (both spoken and written).
