Performance Foodservice, PFG's broadline distributor, maintains a unique relationship with a variety of local customers, including independent restaurants and hotels, healthcare facilities, schools, and quick-service eateries. A team of sales reps, chefs, consultants, and other experts builds close relationships with customers—providing advice on improving operations, menu development, product selection, and operational strategies. The Performance team delivers delicious food but also goes above and beyond to help independent restaurant owners achieve their dreams.

The Margin Coordinator position will perform the following duties:

  • Assists with the management of sales margins (GP percentage, dollars, dollars per case, and dollars by drop) by company, salesperson, and customer
  • Performs basic financial analysis
  • Monitors cost and pricing of products by category to ensure profit expectations while growing sales
  • Analyzes daily orders for cost errors or price deviations
  • Evaluates bid items for contract maintenance and compliance to maximize margins

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • 6-12 months of accounting or accounting admin support experience

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • 1-2 years of accounting or accounting admin support experience
