Key Responsibilities
- Maintain all tool fitting equipment, ensure it is safe before use and left safe for the next user.
- Report all tool issues identified during tool fitting.
- Control all production scrap and downtime; record information in the ERP system.
- Complete all BD set-ups within the required time scale.
- Carry out first-off checks before production.
- Report tooling issues during set-ups and production runs.
- Monitor BD production parts, react to changing trends to maximize efficiency.
- Monitor the ERP system closely to ensure all machines operate on standard cycle times, maintaining the production plan.
- Complete relevant checks, including steam leak reports, machine condition, 5S, and other required checks.
- Efficiently fault find process issues, ensuring root causes are identified and addressed or reported.
- Deputise for Process Technicians as needed.
- Perform other duties as requested by management.
Tool Changing
- Maintain all tool fitting equipment, ensuring safety before and after use.
- Responsible for tool changing all BD tools as required.
- Responsible for stripping, repairing, cleaning, and servicing all BD moulds to meet the six-month schedule.
- Complete relevant paperwork as required.

Hours of Work
Sunday to Friday on a 3-shift rotation:
- 10 pm – 6 am (Sun-Thurs)
- 6 am – 2 pm (Mon to Fri)
- 2 pm – 10 pm (Mon to Fri)
