FIELD BASED, aligned to your nearest Succession office location. We have over 900 employees and 200 Wealth Planners who provide wealth management and financial planning services to individuals and corporate clients across the UK via our network of offices.

The role of T&C Supervision Manager (TCSM) sits within our Risk and Compliance Team. You will work as part of a team of TCSMs each covering a geographical area, delivering the Training & Competence Scheme to our Wealth Planners. Working in conjunction with other key stakeholders, to ensure Planners maintain competence and can demonstrate: technical knowledge and its application; skills and expertise; compliance with Group policies and procedures and high standards of ethical behaviour.

Key activities will include:

  • Provide regulatory oversight and supervision for new and existing planners.
  • Assessment of Financial Planners ongoing Competence.
  • Identifying areas of improvement, setting in place and monitoring Development Plans.
  • Reporting concerns/risks and providing recommendations where improvements are not being made.
  • Assisting with Regulatory Change programmes involving Planners knowledge, skills and competence.
  • Contributing to the annual Certification process.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about getting the best out of people and will be motivated to enable our Planners to deliver the very best outcomes for our clients within the regulatory framework.

Our ideal candidate will have:

  • At least 5 years’ experience within financial services.
  • Qualified to QCA Level 4 or above.
  • Experience of Training and Competence within IFA/Wealth Management.
  • Supervisory experience.
  • A good level of education with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Organised, efficient and able to use initiative and drive improvements.
  • Comfortable with travel across the UK when required.
