Join to apply for the Sports Massage Therapist role at Bodyset. We are looking for a dynamic Sports Massage/Soft Tissue Therapist to join the team on a self-employed basis. Reporting to the Clinic Manager, you'll be an integral member of the clinic's multidisciplinary team. You'll provide the highest standard of care to a self-pay and private medical insured patient caseload, following established clinical pathways from initial triage to discharge. As a great communicator, you'll build long-lasting relationships with clients and work collaboratively within the multidisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities
- Take professional responsibility as a Sports Massage/Soft Tissue Therapist with decision-making, autonomy, and clinical-reasoning skills to assess and treat.
- Comply with all policies, procedures, guidelines, and regulations to ensure consistent service delivery and customer experience.
- Communicate effectively with clients, respecting privacy, dignity, and confidentiality.
- Coordinate with referring parties to ensure continued and uninterrupted care.
- Advise clients on nutrition, exercise, equipment, sleep, stress management, and overall wellbeing.
- Proactively attract new and returning clients, including leading corporate workshops as prepared with the partnerships manager.
- Identify and report risks to the Clinic Manager to improve clinic standards.
- Maintain accurate client documentation and complete records in a timely manner.
- Engage in ongoing professional development and evidence CPD activities.
- Abide by relevant governing body guidelines (e.g., SMA) when treating patients.
- Support service improvements within the multidisciplinary team.
Required Experience and Qualifications
- Sports massage qualification with relevant insurance.
- Ability to work autonomously while following clinical pathways.
- Evidence of ongoing professional development.
- Excellent organizational, time management, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in written English and Microsoft Office.
