Our award-winning SaaS software is trusted by a rapidly growing user base of over 1,000 organisations, from major corporations to government bodies and leading cultural institutions.
The Role
Your core tasks will be to identify, qualify and facilitate sales of our entry level products from Starter to Professional through a mix of inbound and outbound lead generation within a Product Lead Growth (PLG) environment. Along the way you become knowledgeable about Active Digital Preservation and Preservica's product range, providing valuable insight and leadership to organisations across many markets.
- Drive sales of Preservica products from current and potential prospects.
- Qualify and engage with upsell targets through appropriate channels & campaigns.
- Close deals under £15,000 ARR and earn commission.
- Monitor and report on users who have self-selected Preservica’s freemium version of our software.
- Proactively help users towards product adoption by using a consultative approach.
- Qualifying potential end-users for Professional and Enterprise opportunities and setting up appointments for the Direct Sales team.
- Keep up with product and service information and updates.
- Explain and demonstrate features of products and services.
- Stay informed about competing products and services.
- Manage and update your opportunities in Salesforce daily to track Sales business & activity.
Requirements & Previous Experience
- University degree or equivalent.
- Previous experience in an inside sales role or a related sales position preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Salesforce.
- Familiarity with records, information governance and archives is an advantage.
- Familiarity with Product Led Growth (PLG) and customer-centric engagement.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Good organisational skills and the ability to multitask.
- Excellent phone and cold calling skills.
- Strong listening and sales skills.
- Work successfully as part of the overall sales and marketing teams.
This will be a hybrid role with time split between our office in Abingdon and working from home. You should live within commuting distance of Abingdon.
