Priory Hospital Southampton, Marchwood Park, Marchwood, Southampton, SO40 4DA Priory Group Division Hours 15 Vacancy Type Permanent – Part Time Priory Hospital, Southampton is seeking an enthusiastic HCPC registered Clinical or Counselling Psychologist to join our psychology team. This role involves delivering individual therapy, group therapies, and assessments to ensure excellent standards of care for NHS service users requiring inpatient hospital admission. Job Title: Clinical or Counselling Psychologist Location: Priory Hospital, Southampton Hours: 15 hours per week (part-time, permanent) Flexibility: Ideal for those seeking flexible working alongside another job role or other commitments What you’ll be doing: Individual Therapy: Exclusively with service users on our specialist eating disorder ward, Skylark. We seek a psychologist with an interest or previous experience in working with individuals suffering from eating disorders. Group Therapy: Conducting group therapy across our three wards delivering evidenced based therapeutic interventions across inpatient Eating disorder and adult acute settings. Reflective Practice: You will have the opportunity to facilitate and be a part of reflective practice, including involvement in our weekly DBT consult run by our Psychology Lead. Delivering groups derived from CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy), DBT (Dialectical Behaviour Therapy), and/or ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy) approaches. Experience in outpatient or inpatient NHS services, given the NHS-facing nature of this role within an inpatient context.
