Essential Criteria Inventory management Procure to Pay management Invoice management Invoice reconciliation Experience of CRM and Excel Desirable Criteria Materials/Supplies department experience in healthcare setting Experience of leading a team As a Materials Manager, you will provide leadership and management oversight & support to the daily operations of Nuffield Health Hospital Bournemouth. As the leader within your team, you will serve as the key link between the Central supply chain and the hospital leadership teams, providing effective communication internally, across the hospital and within your department. The Materials Manager, will lead the on-site supply chain department/s including inventory management, vendor relationship management, and managing supply expenses. In addition, you would be responsible for implementation of best practice and continuous improvement across the Hospital. As a Materials Manager, your key responsibilities include but are not limited to: Lead, motivate, supervise, and train the team within the Materials departments at Nuffield Health Bournemouth Ensure effective people management including recruitment, development, deployment, performance review, absence management, disciplinary/grievance procedures and overall accountability of the team Ensure departmental meetings take place and ensure all relevant communication is cascaded effectively Develop the department with accountability for achieving cost management KPI’s Ensure the achievement of Nuffield Health objectives i.e. target inventory levels / stock days / loan kit Ensure all audits / reviews of the department and its performance are undertaken and recorded and action is taken in a prompt manner to address any issues raised Consult and meet regularly with departments to discuss any necessary changes due to developments in clinical practice, as well as the wider supply chain Cost reduction and efficiency improvements are implemented and supported Ensure timely and accurate invoice investigations and resolutions Helping you feel good.
