Job Title: Power Business Analyst Job Description As a Senior Business Analyst, you will work towards the expansion of the businesses Power sales capabilities across Europe. You will liaise with key business stakeholders and elicit the key requirements required of the Trading IT domain. You will translate those requirements into well-defined user stories across Trading IT delivery verticals. Responsibilities Liaise with architecture colleagues across Sales IT and Trading IT domains. Collaborate with the Programme Manager and various stakeholders to ensure alignment between business needs and project goals. Act as a liaison between IT teams and business stakeholders within power trading environments. Analyse and optimise existing systems, with a specific focus on their application in European power trading and sales. Provide a comprehensive understanding of the power deal lifecycle, including trade capture, risk management, scheduling, invoicing, and settlements. Support the Power Sales team in delivering technology-enabled business changes, focusing on enhancing ETRM capabilities across the full trade lifecycle. Participate in testing processes (unit, QA, and UAT) to ensure successful delivery and functionality of new systems. Develop training materials and support user training to ensure smooth post-implementation adoption. Drive continuous improvement by conducting post-implementation reviews and identifying opportunities to enhance system performance. Essential Skills Experience in business analysis within the power trading domain. Strong understanding of power deal lifecycle, including trade capture, risk management, scheduling, invoicing, and settlements. Ability to translate business requirements into well-defined user stories. Experience in liaising between IT teams and business stakeholders. Familiarity with ETRM systems and enhancing their capabilities. Additional Skills & Qualifications Knowledge of European power trading and sales.
