Mobile Plant Engineer/Commercial Vehicle Tech Experienced Plant Fitter required that can also have some HGV/commercial vehicle experience. Mobile role in the Wigan area. We are recruiting for an experienced Plant Fitter / Plant Engineer to work at our client\’s sites in the Wigan area. The ideal candidate would also have experience in HGVs/commercial vehicles and/or recovery truck experience. One day per week, they will be working on AA Flatbed Trucks, so the additional experience would be fantastic. Mobile role. Our client offers their customers an all-in-one, go-to destination for vehicle and plant repairs and maintenance. They focus on keeping their customers happy through our bespoke service and longstanding relationships. They work with many nationally recognised companies. Due to company growth, they are now recruiting to cover their local region in order to accommodate their ever-growing customer base. The working hours are 47.5 hours per week; your hours start when you leave home, so you are paid from when you leave home, not just from when you reach site. Services and repair work will be carried out on a variety of assets including but not limited to: Trailers Winches Dumpers Diggers Skimmers Pallet trucks Pumps Being LOLER trained is ideal, but training can be given. All jobs are pre-booked for you via their head office team. Job sheets and bookings are all communicated via tablet. You will be required to have your own tools, but specialist tooling can be supplied if required i.e., torque wrench and testing gauges.
