Our client is a Plant Tool Hire Company that will supply power tools, small plant machinery, generators (diesel and solar) and temporary site cabins/vans throughout Southeast. With a reputation for quality and excellent service, they are looking to take on a new, permanent member of their team as a technician/driver. Your tasks will be varied and will include, but not limited to Checking returned tools, cleaning and repairing when needed, ready for next hire. Fixing damaged equipment (mechanical d electrical) Preparing cabins/living quarters for delivery to clients Delivering to client premises (either by van or towing) Conducting PAT testing on electrical appliances. Operating materials handling equipment (forklifts) and moving equipment around site. You will generally, be expected, as part of the team, to partake in all tasks, throughout the site, as required to ensure a smooth, professional service is provided to clients. You do not need to be qualified and experienced in all aspects of the above as you will be given support and training in all tasks to bring you up to speed. What is essential is an ability to learn, a practical mindset and desire to take on new skills and a team oriented approach to work with and help across the depot. Full, valid driving license is essential with no more than 6 points. Other skills that would be beneficial are Mechanical Electrical Forklift Towing Hours are Monday to Friday 8.00am – 5.00pm potential overtime and Saturdays at premium rates.
