Great Place to Work Top 100 Most Loved Workplace Forbes Best-in-State Employer Level Monitoring Surveyor The role: We currently have an opportunity for a Land Surveyor to join our Subsidence Team, within our award-winning Subsidence Services Division. You will be part of our newly formed level monitoring and 360 survey team. You will take responsibility for undertaking regular level monitoring surveys on your own portfolio of domestic and commercial subsidence claims. You will work closely with other members of the subsidence team delivering market leading customer experience. Successful candidates should be comfortable with undertaking level monitoring and working outdoors. Although experience is preferred, training will be provided for candidates without level surveying experience but who have a surveying/building background and are looking to progress in land or building surveying. This opportunity would be ideal for candidates based in or around the London, South Central, South East, West (Bristol), Midlands, and North East areas. Many of our colleagues now benefit from working flexibly, arranging their own appointments and maintaining a healthy work/life balance. You will have/will be: A full UK driving licence Ability to manage and plan your own workload whilst delivering professional advice to claimants and insurers Have obtained or be working towards a surveying qualification e.g., BSc (Hons) Degree, HND in Surveying etc Have structural defects knowledge Experience of insurance claims handling would be advantageous but is not essential as training will be given The ability to be decisive in resolving matters, with an appreciation of the importance of delivering outstanding customer service, along with excellent communication and empathy skills A good working knowledge of IT, most Microsoft packages, and Apple apps, with the ability to operate both Windows and Apple hardware devices What will you get for this role?
