Qualifications, Education and Skills Requisites Current College of Physicians and Surgeons of British Columbia (CPSBC) License Full Canadian Medical Protective Association (CMPA) Mandatory Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Canada (FRCSC) Mandatory Role and Facility Information The Fraser Health, Surrey Memorial Hospital Urology Group is looking to add a member to their current four members due to the impending retirement of a colleague. The new member will share elective OR resources with the current team, as no additional resources are provided with this position. The Surrey team is seeking an individual who provides care in general urology, with a wide range of skills from oncology, which includes complex procedures such as radical cystectomy, prostatectomy, kidney cancer procedures to reconstructive procedures such as sling and sphincter placement with further expected abilities for common on-call duties. Active participation in monthly Uro-oncology rounds is required and prior work experience is an asset. Additionally, as a member of the Fraser Health medical staff, you will participate in the University of British Columbia (UBC) medical education program and are expected to apply for a clinical faculty appointment in the Division of Urology, UBC.
