We are pleased to be working on behalf of a global insurance provider, who require an experienced Underwriter to join their growing UK construction / engineering department underwriting and producing insurance and reinsurance business within authority levels.
Candidates will be responsible for the underwriting of cases in a consistent and technical manner within the authority limit. You will act as the primary contact for medium sized clients and support with larger sized clients.
Candidates need to come from an engineering underwriting background and have knowledge of the UK construction market. You will be calm, flexible, have a good working knowledge of Microsoft applications, be diplomatic and have strong commercial acumen.
In return candidates can expect to receive a competitive basic salary and a leading benefits package.
