Marlowe Fire & Security’s Lead Engineer is a self-motivated person who gives day-to-day support and guidance to the engineering team in their area. They will plan and monitor the maintenance tasks and work in conjunction with the Scheduler for the area to ensure effective and profitable use of the engineering resource for the region. Responsibilities include:
- Ensuring performance and service are in line with compliance and monthly schedules.
- Responding to customer needs, complaints, and concerns with urgency as required.
- Completing toolbox talks with direct reports, providing clear records of completion to the compliance team.
- Being available for site surveys and installation handovers as directed by your Regional Service Manager.
- Organising and maintaining an effective call-out rota for the area.
- Being responsible for minor works within the area through a dedicated minor works resource.
- Assisting the Regional Service Manager in the management of the engineering team.
- Deputising for your Regional Service Manager during periods of sickness and holidays.
- Supporting engineers in stock control and further action management.
- Attending and assisting with troublesome sites and complaints.
- Technically supporting DRS and the Sales Team with quotations.
- Initial planning of ppm on large/complex sites – meeting with customers in support of key sites in the region.
- Assisting in the delivery of small bespoke projects and ensuring on-time delivery.
Who We’re Looking For: Marlowe Fire & Security considers our people our greatest asset. Therefore, we are looking for candidates who offer:
- At least 5 years’ experience as an accomplished multi-disciplined Fire & Security Engineer.
- A technical background in the electrical/electronic industry would be beneficial.
- Experience in front-line customer service will be preferred.
- A full UK Driving Licence – mandatory.
- Flexibility to travel and be part of an on-call rota.
