As a Reporting Specialist at Sustainable Energy First you will create and maintain energy financial reporting for key customers, delivering detailed forecasts and additional value to client contacts. This role requires a detail-oriented analyst with strong excel skills who can confidently communicate the outcomes of their work to stakeholders. You will be responsible for maintaining a relationship with key stakeholders and working closely with other teams to ensure accuracy of data.
Your primary responsibilities include:
- Creation of quality complex client reporting - Developing and preparing detailed, accurate, and timely reports for clients
- Direct delivery of reporting to the client - Focus on the value add and insight.
- Client Communication - Building client relationships and being a key point of contact for all things relating to the contracted reporting. Deliberate conversations with the client around the reporting, providing insight and opportunities not limited to the purpose of the report.
- Continuous Improvements - Working with the Client Reporting Division Manager and Principal Reporting Specialist to identify opportunities to enhance the reporting process through automation.
Requirements:
- You will have strong attention to detail
- Able to analyse financial data and identify trends in areas of concern
- Able to identify discrepancies or inefficiencies in financial reports and correct them.
- Strong knowledge of industry schemes and an understanding of commodity markets and their impact on reporting. Become a trusted source of utility financial information for stakeholders, proving reliability and knowledge.
- Proficiency in reporting tools such as Excel
- Able to multi-task and adhere to deadlines and communicate potential delays.
- As a senior member of the team, being able to support the Principal Reporting Specialist to mentor & coach your colleagues is vitally important in this role.

- Salary: Based on experience
- Holidays: 25 days + bank holidays + your birthday off, increasing to 30 days on length of service
