Full time Nights Logistics Controller based in Tamworth. This role is 18:00 - 06:00, 4 days on and 4 days off rotation.
My client is an international transport haulage organisation who are based in Tamworth and looking for a Nights Logistics Controller.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and manage delivery schedules so fuel arrives on time.
- Communicate with drivers and the team to keep everything running smoothly.
- Handle any delivery questions or last-minute changes like route swaps or delays.
- Order fuel and ensure all details are correct before loading.
- Share updates with teammates and other departments.
- Support customers by answering their questions and sorting out issues.
- Respond calmly to emergencies like spills or unexpected problems.
- Take on any other tasks that help the team and keep operations running smoothly.
Profile:
- Strong communication skills and confident working with different people.
