Vickerstock are working in partnership with a growing manufacturing business on the appointment of a Supply Chain Manager. As the Supply Chain Manager, you will have oversight of the warehouse, procurement, logistics and inventory. This is a vitally important position in the business as our client seeks to improve efficiencies across these areas in line with growth plans. You must have experience in both areas, either separately or combined, ideally with manufacturing experience.

In your new role:
- Manage the full procurement lifecycle, ensuring cost-effective and timely acquisition of components, raw materials, and services.
- Develop and implement a tiered supplier assessment and approval system.
- Lead supplier negotiations, performance reviews, and relationship management.
- Manage inbound and outbound logistics to ensure timely delivery of goods to production and customers.
- Coordinate with transport providers to optimise delivery performance and reduce freight costs.
- Collaborate with the Production Manager and Design Team to ensure accurate demand forecasting.
- Produce regular reports for Senior Management and drive continuous improvement.
What you will need to succeed:
- Essential: 4 years' recent experience in a relatable management position.
- Leadership and team development experience.
- Experience in implementing efficiencies and streamlining projects.
- Strong supplier management and negotiation skills.
- Desirable: CIPS and or other relevant supply chain qualification.
- Previous working experience in a manufacturing facility.
