An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated, experienced and enthusiastic pharmacy assistant to work within the LNWH Pharmacy Homecare team. The role focuses on processing Homecare medicine invoices, ensuring accuracy, compliance and timely payments.
The key responsibilities include:
- Processing and validating homecare invoicing, ensuring they align with purchase orders and contractual agreements.
- Assisting in reconciling supplier statements and preparing reports on invoicing activities.
- Maintaining regular working relationships with all pharmacy Homecare, purchasing and distribution staff.
- Routinely processing complex invoicing information from Homecare providers and updating the pharmacy CMM system appropriately.
- Providing Principal Pharmacy Technician - Homecare with invoicing details as and when required.
- Providing Principal Pharmacy Technician - Homecare with end of month finance data e.g. CREC β unallocated invoices reports.
- Communicating regularly with Homecare providers on invoice queries and pricing disputes.
- Ensuring that medicines supplied to patients via the Homecare providers are supplied at the correct contract price using the CMM pharmacy system and the NHS Purchasing and Supply Agencyβs electronic catalogue as references.
- Updating and maintaining internal data logs regarding daily invoice workload.
- Identifying any invoicing errors and arranging for a credit note to be issued by the Homecare providers.
- Preparation and collation of financial management, summary data including reconciliation and balances.
- Communicating regularly with the Finance Department on pharmacy invoicing issues.
- Dealing with frequent and varied queries both in person and by telephone.
- Communicating with Pharmacy procurement team on stock pricing issues.
