We are currently hiring a Weekend Junior Model Maker responsible for the production of wind tunnel models and test parts, as well as supporting the Aero department with logistics and driving duties as needed.

Model Making
  • Produce wind tunnel models and test parts for aerodynamic testing.
  • Assist in preparing 3D-printed parts and organize tests.
  • Collaborate with Model Shop Leaders, Designers, and Aerodynamicists to develop models for testing.
  • Support daily model shop activities and wind tunnel operations.
Logistics Support
  • Deliver components to the off-site Wind Tunnel Facility in Bedford.
  • Assist the Production & Logistics team with logistics and driving duties as required.
Flexibility and Professionalism
  • Maintain flexible attendance, including evenings and weekends, to meet testing schedules.
  • Communicate effectively within the Aero department.
  • Manage time efficiently and develop good working relationships with colleagues across departments.
  • Maintain a professional attitude and promote a positive image for the team and sponsors.
