Support Worker – Market Weighton – The Wilf Ward Family Trust

£12.41 per hour plus additional for weekend work. DRIVER ESSENTIAL – Due to the individual needs of the service, a UK valid driver’s licence is essential for this role.

What we do need is someone with a compassionate and caring nature, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, the ability to work independently and as part of a team, and a willingness to undergo relevant training and development.

We currently have fantastic opportunities for Support Workers to join our team at our registered complex care service in Market Weighton, just outside the town centre.

What you will be doing:

  • Support with daily activities, including cooking, cleaning, and shopping.
  • Assist with managing finances, medications, and appointments.
  • Encourage and empower individuals to participate in social and community activities.
  • Promote independence and help individuals achieve their personal goals.
  • Build positive relationships and offer emotional support to those in your care.

In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating and delivering specialised care services to individuals with complex health needs, ensuring that all needs are met with the highest level of quality and compassion.
