My client is a regional contractor within the fire safety space; they are looking for someone with the technical knowledge and experience to install fire doors to premises all over the London area. The business will try to keep you within a reasonable distance of your home address.
This role is focused on working with multiple housing associations, councils and other public sector contracts to ensure that installations happen and are conducted with a high degree of accuracy.

Day to day responsibility:
- Competently install new doorsets, and remediate existing doorsets (communal riser doors, cross corridor, and flat entrance doors)
- Confidently build electrical meter cupboards
- Ensure all works are carried out to a standard that satisfies the company, our customers, and accreditations (FIRAS and BM Trada)
- Accurately complete job reports and provide records of all works
- Provide excellent and friendly customer service to our customers
- Communicate well with your manager and our administration staff
Qualifications:
- UK Driving License with no more than 6 points (required)
- NVQ level 2/3 in Carpentry/Carpentry & Joinery/Site Carpentry (preferred but not required)
- FIRAS-assessed (preferred but not required)
- At least 2 years proven experience in FRA Carpentry, preferably with 1 years of experience within the public sector
