You are a part-qualified Patent Attorney currently working in a private practice, full-service law firm or in-house department looking to make an exciting career move.
As a current Patent Attorney in training (Technical Assistant), you already possess the ability to quickly understand a broad range of Physics, Electronic Engineering, Software/AI or Computer Science related subject matter.
You should have passed your UK Foundation Examinations, and the pre-EQE, and be working towards qualification as both a UK and European Patent Attorney.
You possess an innate interest in new technology and relish the opportunity to advise inventors on a range of patent filing strategies. Naturally, you also pride yourself on your direct client management and relationship building skills, coupled with your ability to prioritise and take responsibility for your own caseloads.
You\’ll be joining an energetic and supportive practice team that has built up an enviable reputation for the quality of their clients across many technical disciplines; several of these clients offer direct work where your drafting, prosecution and contentious skills will be fully utilised.
