Roles & Responsibilities As Ecommerce Manager, your role is crucial in overseeing and enhancing Asset Technology’s online sales platforms. Our Ecommerce ‘Retail’ Department includes the following platforms: eBay Amazon Shopify Back Market On-Buy Tik Tok Social Media Marketplaces Other online platforms Your responsibilities include: Strategy Development: Create and implement e-commerce strategies to grow online sales and market presence. Sales Optimisation: Analyse sales data to identify trends, opportunities for improvement, and methods to increase conversion rates. Inventory Management: Manage product listings, stock levels, and supplier relationships to ensure product availability and timely delivery. Digital Marketing: Collaborate with the digital marketing team to ensure the e-commerce website (Shopify) is user-friendly, SEO-optimized, and aligned with branding. Responding to Enquiries: Answer customer questions via phone, email, chat, or social media regarding products, orders, shipping, returns, etc. Order Management: Assist customers with placing, tracking, cancelling, or modifying orders, ensuring timely delivery. Problem Resolution: Resolve customer complaints and issues effectively, liaising with logistics, warehouse, or product teams as needed. Product Knowledge: Maintain thorough understanding of products to provide accurate information and recommendations. Technical Support: Provide technical assistance for website, app, or payment issues. Customer Feedback: Collect and relay customer feedback for continuous improvement. Upselling and Cross-selling: Promote additional products or services based on customer needs. Compliance and Policies: Ensure adherence to company policies, industry regulations, and data protection standards. Documentation: Keep accurate records of interactions, transactions, and resolutions. Continuous Improvement: Participate in training and team activities to enhance skills. Identify Stock for Sale: Determine the best products to purchase and sell across platforms. Budget Management: Develop and oversee the e-commerce budget to ensure effective resource allocation. Overall, the role requires strong communication, problem-solving, empathy, patience, and a customer-centered approach to support online retail success. Commission: TBC Commissions are paid 30 days in arrears from the payment received by the business. Other arrangements are considered case-by-case.
