Lualdi combines Italian craftsmanship with cutting-edge design and they now seek an experienced General Manager to lead and grow their UK operations from the central London showroom.

The Opportunity:

This is a hands-on leadership role suited to a commercially minded individual with a passion for design and interiors. The ideal candidate will be well-connected within the UK’s architecture and design (A&D) community and comfortable managing both sales growth and operational functions. You will take ownership of the UK business while working closely with the wider Lualdi team based in Italy (Design, Marketing, HR, and Production).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide operational leadership and manage the UK team and showroom.
  • Oversee the full sales and project lifecycle from initial enquiry and quoting to project management, delivery, installation, and aftercare.
  • Manage showroom operations, financial reporting, and budgeting.
  • Cultivate relationships with high-end interior designers and architectural firms.
  • Drive business development and lead client acquisition initiatives.
  • Attend trade shows, industry events, and client meetings, both in the UK and abroad as needed.
  • Ensure brand representation and uphold Lualdi’s high standards across all touchpoints.

Candidate Profile:

  • Proven experience in the interiors or design industry is essential.
  • Demonstrated experience in a leadership or general management role.
  • Strong background in sales, business development, and project management.
  • Degree in Design, Architecture or a related field is advantageous.
  • Highly proficient in Mac OS and Microsoft Office 365.
  • Exceptional presentation, design sensibility, and attention to detail.
  • Fluent in English; Italian language skills are a distinct advantage.
