You will be working for the high growth womenswear brand Sisters & Seekers within a creative and visionary team, all striving towards taking the brand to the next level. We are based near Chester but have a global reach with customers all over the world. We are looking for an ambitious, driven and passionate individual who is looking to develop their merchandising career in a dynamic and expanding team at our HQ near Chester (CH5). This position is a full-time role based in the office through Monday to Friday, with the opportunity to immerse yourself in the lively Sisters & Seekers team, experience staff and community events, and if you’re camera ready, to be a part of our viral TikTok videos!
This role will report to our Head of Merchandising, and is an exciting opportunity to join a newly forming team on a journey of expansion.
What you will do:
- Ownership of updating sales and stock reporting in a timely manner on a weekly and ad hoc basis, sharing with the wider team to support with trading and analysis.
- Support the HoM with updating the Monday Trade Pack, feeding in own updates and analysis where required.
- Ownership of updating WSSI with actualised sales and stock in a timely manner on a weekly basis.
- Ownership of ensuring the Trading Calendar is maintained to ensure wider team are informed of latest launch dates for new collections and any price activity.
- Raise and manage Purchase Orders ensuring product, price, unit and delivery information is accurately reflected at any given time, liaising with the warehouse to ensure smooth inbound delivery process.
- Daily maintenance of the Intake Tracker to ensure the most accurate and up to date PO and delivery information can be found at any given time.
- Ownership of maintaining the forward forecasts of our Core Line Cards, ensuring these are reviewed on a monthly basis with any rebuy requirements or intake movements highlighted to the HoM and actioned in a timely manner.
- Accountable for maintaining strong size availability on core lines at all times whilst managing cover levels to remain within set targets.
- Ownership of the Stock Health reporting, which includes reviewing sales, stock, cover and pricing by line and proposing actions to manage under and over performance.
- Estimating on new lines within the Range Plan to a set budget, working collaboratively with buyers and wider product team to bring together data analysis, ranking and trend forecasting.
- Support the team with reporting and analysis to contribute to Lessons Learnt on previous collections, and feed into future Strategy and Budgeting using knowledge gained.
- Liaising with suppliers to ensure deliveries are on time and any changes are managed effectively and communicated with wider team.
- Taking responsibility for own personal development, working alongside line manager to create a Personal Development Plan and map out clear career path to achieve your goals.
We'd love to meet someone with:
- At least 2 years’ experience in merchandising as either a Merch Admin Assistant or Assistant Merchandiser within a Fashion Retailer.
- Being good with numbers, and having a strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel is essential to thrive in this role.
- Someone who loves to get stuck in and has brilliant communication skills, working well both independently and within a team.
- Strong organisational skills and thrives in a fast paced environment.
- Ability to prioritise and manage own workload and that of their direct reports where applicable.
- Strong problem solving skills, a ‘can do’ attitude to finding solutions.
- Someone with a great attitude who is willing to learn.
