An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 4 Assistant Psychologist to work within the Emotional Health and Wellbeing Service (EHWS), Fenland Mental Health Support Team (MHST), part of Cambridgeshire Community Services NHS Trust. The Assistant Psychologist role does not require professional registration, only an undergraduate psychology degree. The EHWS supports children and young people with mild to moderate mental health difficulties, within the \’Getting Advice\’ and \’Getting Help\’ quadrants of the Thrive Framework, working closely with schools and colleges. This position is based at The New Horsefair Clinic in Wisbech, covering the Fenland area in Cambridgeshire. Click on the link to the Job Description to learn more about the role. The role involves working closely with Psychologists and clinicians to support the emotional health and wellbeing of children and young people across Fenland. You will support audits, research, data analysis, and evaluations, and lead small projects to support service development. The role includes clinical work with children, young people, and their families, as well as school staff. You will gain experience in delivering cognitive-behavioral therapy informed guided self-help and other group-based interventions. Please note, the post requires travel across two counties, often at short notice.
