Site Chemist – Waste Management Location: Southampton, UK Salary: up to £32,000 (DOE) Working Hours: Monday to Friday – 8:00am-5:00pm Job Description: My client is seeking a Site Chemist to join their team based in Southampton. The ideal candidate will hold a degree in Chemistry, Environmental Science, or a related field, with prior experience in the Waste Management Industry. Responsibilities include ensuring the safe operation of the site, waste handling, and liaising with site management. This role offers an excellent opportunity for career progression within the Waste Management industry. Maintain a paperwork trail for all processed/repacked waste to ensure traceability from cradle to grave. Requirements: Bachelor\’s degree in Chemistry or a related field. Previous experience as a Site Chemist, Lab Analyst, or similar is desirable. Good laboratory practice and Health & Safety knowledge. Experience in the Waste Management industry is desirable but not essential. Forklift License is desirable but not essential.
