About the Role
This is not your typical graduate or entry-level job. As Founder’s Associate, you’ll work side-by-side with a multi-venture founder who operates three businesses, serves on non-executive boards and committees, and is currently launching two new ventures involving patented hardware with global potential. You’ll gain rare, hands-on access to what it takes to build companies, from the first idea to execution.
What we’re looking for is someone exceptionally ambitious and ready to learn. You’ll be mentored, trusted, and given the platform to learn fast across multiple domains: branding, fundraising, operations, strategy, sponsorship, partnerships, and more. This role is ideal for someone with serious drive! Someone who may want to start their own business in the future or step into a senior leadership role within one of these ventures.
What You’ll Be Doing & Learning
- This is a hands-on, fast-paced role where you’ll gain real-world experience across multiple ventures and be mentored every step of the way.
- You’ll take ownership of meaningful tasks from day one; You’ll be involved in:
- Supporting outreach for fundraising, sponsorships, and partnerships
- Researching markets, competitors, and opportunities to support business growth
- Preparing briefings, notes, and materials for high-stakes meetings
- Shadowing the founder at events, strategic sessions, and investor conversations
- Contributing to branding, marketing, and go-to-market planning
- Assisting with the launch of products, initiatives, and campaigns
- Managing key follow-ups and coordination tasks across businesses
- Taking initiative under pressure, often helping deliver on tight or shifting deadlines
Every task is a chance to learn, and your scope will grow as you do. Over time, you’ll gain insight into:
- How to launch and scale a business from scratch
- Fundraising strategy and investor communications
- Brand positioning, sales pipelines, and customer outreach
- Business operations, compliance, and legal structures
- Board-level decision-making and governance
- Leadership, public speaking, and high-pressure execution
- Building relationships with stakeholders, partners, and clients
This is an immersive, real-world business education — not from textbooks or webinars, but from sitting in the room where things happen.
What We’re Looking For
This role is about potential. You might be a recent graduate or in the early stages of your career. You’ll thrive here if you’re:
- Genuinely curious about start-ups, entrepreneurship, or innovation
- Proactive, sharp, and not afraid to ask questions
- Calm under pressure and comfortable juggling different tasks
- A clear communicator — both in writing and face-to-face
- Self-motivated and happy working independently when needed
You don’t need to be from a top university or consultancy to apply; your mindset is what matters most to us. But if you have any of the following, you’ll likely hit the ground running faster:
- Great writing or communication skills
- Research, organisation, or project coordination experience
- Side projects, blogs, community initiatives, or a small business.
- Experience with tools like Google Workspace, Notion, LinkedIn, or AI tools
- Familiarity with social media, branding, or storytelling
- Professionalism and maturity in handling sensitive, confidential, or high-level interactions
- Speak any additional language (please mention these in your application)
You don’t need to check every box. We’re looking for someone who’s eager to learn, ready to contribute, and willing to grow. Whether this is your first job or you’ve done a lot already, we’d love to hear from you if this sounds like your kind of challenge.
Future Growth & Compensation
This is a pathway role — and where it leads is up to you. You’ll be supported and mentored from day one. If you prove yourself, there’s potential to evolve into a senior role within one of the ventures, with future earnings of £100k+ very achievable. Again, we’re not hiring for a stopgap — we’re looking for a future right-hand person.
Flexibility
Hybrid role: work from home most days (with the option to work from the London office). Some flexibility is required — and you’ll be given the same in return. Occasional UK and European travel.
