Carpool is a logistics tech platform for shipping cars. Our platform enables multiple clients to share space on one truck, which means lower cost and fewer emissions. We are looking for an experienced Director of Enterprise Sales in the automotive vertical to expand our enterprise sales strategy. If you are a driven self-starter with automotive industry experience and want to be part of one of the fastest growing startups in Atlanta, this is a great opportunity to join our team. You have experience with consultative sales to enterprise accounts with OEMs, Fleets, and Dealer Groups. You can take advantage of your prior automotive industry experience to help build and execute an enterprise sales strategy as we enter the new phase of growth.
Carpool is looking for an ambitious Director of Enterprise Sales to help fuel the growth in business partnerships within the OEM, Fleet and Franchise Dealer Group verticals. As a self-starter, you will build relationships with executives within the automotive vertical and support their supply chain initiatives. This is a competitive role and will require relationship building skills, automotive experience, a growth mindset, and an entrepreneurial spirit. As in every startup, you will be wearing multiple hats beyond the core responsibilities. This is a great opportunity to get very broad exposure to building and running a business.
Responsibilities:
- Develop a comprehensive sales strategy to create and maintain a pipeline of business opportunities with enterprise clients.
- Build and manage a relationship portfolio, expand brand awareness and generate profitable revenue with OEM, Fleet and Franchise Dealer Groups.
- Meet revenue growth goals by owning sales pipeline from conception to execution.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including leadership, marketing, operations and product to align initiatives, goals and deliverables.
- Set aggressive KPI’s ensuring alignment with enterprise growth plans, review and adjust sales strategy as required.
- Be current on industry trends, developments and help position Carpool as a subject matter expert.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- 7 years of automotive experience, with logistics/transportation preferred.
- Strong communication and leadership skills with ability to work cross-functionally.
- Strategic thinker with ability to deliver creative programs and solutions.
- Passion for building customer relationships.
- Creative problem-solving, detail oriented and strong organization skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
- Willingness to travel.
