Our UK facility serves as the European Maintenance Centre Hub for the SHE Group, handling level 1 to level 3 maintenance and repairs on complex helicopter engine components. We seek a detail-oriented and proactive Financial Accountant to oversee financial records, reporting, cash management, and credit control, ensuring accurate accounting and compliance with regulatory standards. Key Responsibilities Credit Control Implement and monitor credit management processes Manage accounts receivable to reduce debtor days and financial risk Ensure adherence to payment terms and credit limits Prepare Monthly Credit Review presentations and meeting notes Forecast overdue accounts weekly Liaise with shared services AR team and customer support management Assess customer creditworthiness and set credit limits Conduct financial risk and margin analysis for contracts Cash Management Organize weekly cash and overdue forecasts Follow up on overdue accounts Manage weekly/monthly/budget cash forecasts and data modeling Analyze monthly Free Cash Flow and cash position Update credit collection performance indicators Payroll Accounting Prepare and post monthly payroll journal entries Reconcile payroll accounts and resolve discrepancies Compile headcount data and produce reports Ensure compliance with UK tax regulations and HMRC submissions Additional Tasks Adhoc banking activities, including manual payments Contribute to internal controls and annual reviews Ownership of SOD controls and quarterly reporting Qualifications & Skills Level 3 AAT qualified or part-qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent 4+ years experience in a similar finance role Proficiency with accounting systems and financial reporting regulations Experience in credit management is mandatory Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills Experience with SAP preferred; PowerBI and PowerQuery beneficial Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities Next Steps Please apply via our website.
