We’re looking for an experienced HR Advisor to join our client's team in a dynamic, generalist role with a strong focus on employee relations. This company believes in trust and empowering their people. You’ll be primarily based in Glasgow, with the option to work 1 day per week following probation. Some travel to our other UK sites will be required, so a driving licence and access to transport is essential.
What you’ll be doing:
- As a key member of the HR team, you will provide practical, timely and professional HR support across the business.
- Managing a varied caseload of employee relations matters including disciplinary, grievance, absence and performance issues.
- Coaching and advising line managers on HR policies and best practice.
- Supporting workforce planning, restructures and change management projects.
- Contributing to HR policy development and continuous improvement of HR processes.
What we’re looking for:
- Proven experience in a similar HR Advisor or generalist HR role.
- Strong knowledge and application of UK employment law and employee relations.
- Confident communicator with the ability to influence and build strong relationships at all levels.
- Willingness to travel to sites as required (with expenses covered).
