Salary: £60,000 - £65,000 plus bonus and excellent benefits.

We are looking to recruit a Project Manager for a leading online retailer who will lead the delivery of a variety of different projects aligned to their strategic roadmap, working with Agile and Waterfall working models, using both in-house and third-party development teams.

The Role:

  • Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with the project sponsor and stakeholders.
  • Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and milestones.
  • Coordinate project resources.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to execute projects, ensuring alignment with project objectives; manage change requests.
  • Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Prepare and present progress reports, proposals, and status updates to stakeholders.
  • Manage relationships with key stakeholders to ensure satisfaction.
  • Coordinate with external vendors or contractors as needed.
  • Conduct post-project evaluations and create recommendations for future improvements.
  • Contribute to the Project Management Centre of Excellence as part of the PMO Methodology.
  • Implement agreed best practices, tools, and methodologies to improve project outcomes.

Key Skills & Experience:

  • Project management certifications, ideally Waterfall and Agile.
  • Significant project management experience including IT and non-IT projects.
  • Proven experience in managing complex projects with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong leadership, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Smartsheet, JIRA, G-Suite).
  • Experience of working with third-party suppliers and in-house software development teams.
  • Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) experience highly desirable.
