Job Overview
We have a fantastic new job opportunity for a Product Designer / Product Manager who is resourceful and has an eye for detail with the ability and driving passion for designing outstanding products for the great outdoors.
Working as the Product Designer / Product Manager, you will play a pivotal role in product development, from inception and design, through to sampling and delivery.
As the Product Designer / Product Manager, you will be a resourceful self-starter, able to demonstrate a working knowledge of the Outdoor Leisure Sector and preferably have experience creating exciting outdoor camping products, throughout a period of sustained growth.
Ideally, the successful candidate will also have first-hand experience sourcing in Asia and preferably have an avid interest in outdoor pursuits.

DUTIES
Your Duties As The Product Designer / Product Manager include:
- Product development, from inception and design, through to sampling and delivery, adhering to critical time paths.
- Sourcing materials & manufacturers, managing cost models and development process of the brands.
- Creating clear and accurate timelines connecting team members and key departments, including training the sales team.
- Delivering range proposals reflecting market trends and customer needs across the product portfolio.
- Supplier visits worldwide; minimum of 3 trips per year (approx. 10 days each) and attendance at European & UK Trade Exhibitions (2-3 events).
Candidate Requirements
- Strong negotiation skills and a collaborative attitude.
- Superior communication skills.
- Proficiency in Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop.
- Good understanding of colours and colour trends, with experience in textile and interior design.
- An avid interest in outdoor pursuits, particularly camping, would be beneficial.
