The Role
Our teams in Guildford and Utrecht are growing, and we’re now looking for an Associate IT Technician to join us, supporting our growing IT infrastructure and support needs. IT is at the heart of our business, and you will work as part of a small team providing exceptional first-line tech support for in-house systems and platforms with a people-oriented approach. We’re looking for someone proactive, friendly, technically minded with great customer service skills, who can work under pressure.
Requirements
- Customer service experience
- Technical knowledge—understanding of hardware, networks, and systems
- Basic understanding of network, systems, and hardware fixes
- A keen interest in a career in IT and helpdesk support
- Excellent organizational and prioritization skills

Job Responsibilities
As an Associate IT Technician, you will:
- Assist with the setup of equipment for new starters, meetings, and system maintenance tasks
- Maintain up-to-date records of hardware and software across the business
- Provide face-to-face and remote support to staff, diagnosing and troubleshooting issues on Windows, MacOS, and Linux devices, escalating as needed
- Approach technical issues methodically and logically, finding solutions using your initiative
- Troubleshoot basic network issues
- Administer Exchange and other MS server roles
- Work closely with the Head of IT and Data Security to provide support where required
- Provide basic Linux support
