This position is for a Credit Controller within the Accounting & Finance department of a retail organization, focusing on managing credit and ensuring timely collections. Description Managing a portfolio of accounts to maximize collections and reduce aged debt. Ensuring timely and effective collection of all debts and payments. Negotiating repayment plans. Resolving queries regarding unpaid invoices. Processing and reconciling complex transactions. Producing statements and reports. Reviewing credit applications and references to set up new accounts. Ensuring compliance with policies and procedures. Profile A successful Credit Controller should have: A strong understanding of credit control processes within the retail industry. Excellent negotiation and resolution skills. Strong numerical and analytical skills. Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel. A qualification in finance or accounting is desirable.
