We are now recruiting for a Creative Resource Manager to join Sciterion.
The role
You will be responsible for the smooth running of creative jobs into and out of the Creative Services team. The services offered include ideation, design, animation, video (moving image), 3D, Powerpoint, print and digital, artwork and production.
You will work across all of our business units establishing robust relationships with both Client Services and Scientific Services team members to make sure expectations and deadlines are met from brief through to amends and final delivery. You will need to understand the project process from start to finish to ensure they are adhered to across all disciplines especially when it comes to interaction with the creative team.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage resource scheduling independently or with the support of the Creative Director
- Work with our resource planning platform FLOAT to schedule bookings
- Be the point of contact for all team questions
- Lead regular meetings with the account / workstream leads and Creative Services teams
- Be aware of all projects going through and share any challenges that the team is having
- Run or support a regular (at least weekly) meeting to go through resource scheduling, with input and status from account leads
- Ensure briefs from the Client Services team are ready on time and in line with resource bookings
- Resolve clashes in resource schedule, working with account and project leads
- Be aware of master timing plans across accounts
- Protect booked production time against ad hoc meetings
- Work closely with the senior creative team to understand our people, their skills and personal development opportunities
- Work with our creative and production leads to review and update our preferred creative services supplier lists to ensure we have a good balance of vendors
- Ensure the briefing process is rigorously followed by account and project leads and that resource requests correspond to written time estimates provided by all disciplines
- Ensure all disciplines feel supported and protected at all times by controlling the right casting & sufficient timings being allocated on all jobs
- Proactively drive and uphold Sciterion\’s commitment to quality control (QC) process, ensuring QC is planned in by project leads, and each discipline has the correct amount of time allocated and scheduled
- Improve agency specific ways of working/processes avoiding different approaches within BUs
- Predict and plan resource requirements in the long term
- Coordinate freelancers and third party providers
- Ensure requests for freelancers are correctly structured and only used when all other resourcing options have been exhausted across both Sciterion and Havas Life London
- Ensure all freelance timesheets are received and assessed/approved by the correct people in a timely manner so that freelancers are paid correctly
- Build strong, positive relationships and be a trusted point of contact for any queries, escalating to SLT where appropriate
- Ensure the correct people are involved in required conversations, striving to improve communication across the team
- Actively foster an atmosphere of positive working that allows creative and effective work to flourish
