Peabody Properties seeks an experienced Roving Certification Specialist for properties within the Peabody Properties portfolio along the North Shore. The Roving Certification Specialist will rotate within a regional portfolio, working with site-level staff to support move-in and annual recertifications, especially for new business or staff vacancies. This role involves processing and managing recertification and move-in procedures, including verifying resident information, determining eligibility, and ensuring compliance with housing regulations.
Experience with LIHTC and Project-Based Section 8 is required; COS certification and bilingual English/Spanish skills are a plus.
Requirements:
- 3+ yearsβ experience in property management
- Knowledge of Affordable Housing, LIHTC, and housing regulations
- Ability to complete recertifications accurately and timely
- Excellent customer service and organizational skills
- Proficiency with basic math and computer skills
- Effective communication skills
- Self-motivated and able to take initiative
- Experience with OneSite
- Willingness to assist at other sites as needed
- Travel required
Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma or GED, with 3+ years of property management experience managing recertifications
- Proficiency with OneSite, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel
- LIHTC and HUD/Section 8 experience required
