The role will provide the right person the opportunity to develop and grow both personally and within the operational environment. This company champions internal development and both the Engineering Manager and Plant Manager have worked their way up from being on-the-tools.

Person Requirements for the Electrical Maintenance Engineer:
- Time served engineer, preferably from the Food/FMCG Industry
- Recognised Engineering qualification e.g. HNC/HND/ONC/OND
- Experience with PLC\’s (Siemens and Schneider)
- Accustomed to fast paced and challenging working environments
- Electrically biased engineer with mechanical engineering competency
Job Requirements for the Electrical Maintenance Engineer:
Working predominantly as the electrical maintenance engineer within a small team, you will ideally have experience of fast paced manufacturing environments with an electrical bias, with sound working knowledge of both sides of engineering.
- Work in partnership with the Site Engineering Manager, production staff and technicians to carry out repairs to process equipment and plant machinery.
- Electrically biased but mechanically capable.
- Working within a challenging environment, getting stuck in and involved in ‘dirty’ tasks.
- Troubleshooting and practical fault finding on plant and mechanical/electrical machinery.
- Carry out planned inspection routes on process plant and proactive maintenance schedules.
- Following site H&S procedures and reporting any risks via the internal reporting process.
