Our client is an innovative gallery of original and unique contemporary furniture design and products and are currently seeking a Production Coordinator with technical knowledge of furniture construction and production methods.
With a production and technical design studio on site your main duties will include:
- Planning production schedules, monitoring the production processes and setting and controlling the quality standards
- Interpreting sketches and drawings, able to produce CAD drawings in Rhino when required
- Preparing and shipping samples, organising international and domestic transport for furniture and sculpture
- Daily detailed administrative tasks including purchase orders, invoice processing and progress reporting on current projects
Skills and Experience sought from the Production Coordinator:
- Ability to multitask and project manage the production of luxury and bespoke artist furniture and products
- Strong planning and organisation skills to schedule your own work to meet the team's goals
- Knowledge of handling a variety of materials such as but not limited to bronze, wood, stainless steel, resin
- A knowledge of other European languages would be desirable
