The Grant Administrator for an educational grant is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day management, compliance, and reporting associated with the grant\’s implementation. This role ensures that all grant activities align with the funder\’s requirements, program objectives, and institutional goals. The ideal candidate has a strong background in grant administration, financial management, and program evaluation. This is a Full Time Grant Funded Position and is subject to the terms and conditions of the grant. Essential Duties Grant Compliance and Monitoring Ensure all grant-funded activities adhere to the funder\’s requirements, federal/state regulations, and institutional policies. Monitor grant expenditures to ensure they align with the approved budget and funding guidelines. Maintain accurate records of grant-related activities, documentation, and communications. Oversee the grant budget, including tracking expenses and ensuring proper allocation of funds. Prepare and submit financial reports to the funding agency as required. Collaborate with the finance department to process invoices, reimbursements, and payroll related to the grant. Work closely with program staff to ensure grant-funded initiatives are implemented effectively and meet outlined objectives. Coordinate with project leaders, faculty, and other stakeholders to align grant activities with institutional goals. Provide assistance to staff and partners involved in the grant. Compile and submit timely progress reports, including performance metrics and narrative summaries, to the funding agency, Dean of Health Professions and NWACC Grant office. Maintain an organized system for grant documentation, including contracts, amendments, and correspondence. Assist in developing presentations, publications, or materials to disseminate grant outcomes. Stay informed about changes in grant policies, regulations, and reporting requirements. Address any compliance issues and work proactively to resolve them. Serve as the primary point of contact between NWACC and the funding agency. Facilitate communication among project teams, stakeholders, and external partners. Grant Close-Out Activities Ensure all final reports, documentation, and financial reconciliations are submitted to the funder on time. Evaluate the outcomes of the grant program and identify lessons learned for future projects. Completed applications received by 7/6/2025 will be assured full consideration. Late Applications will be reviewed as necessary to fill the position. Rate of Pay $48,671 annualized *Higher compensation may be considered based on qualifications directly related to position. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Should be able to work effectively with employees and all levels of leadership within the institution. Must be proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Visio) andHRISsystems. The successful candidate must be a self-starter who takes accountability for performance while requiring minimal supervision. Must be able to handle highly confidential material efficiently and effectively. Must possess strong time management, multi-tasking, and organizational skills. Ability to build relationships with individuals and teams across the institution and campus. Ability to analyze information and recommend appropriate action. Knowledge of planning, research, and analysis techniques and procedures. Knowledge of department, operations, policies, and procedures. Ability to conduct research and perform quantitative quality assurance reviews. Ability to research, prepare, and present comprehensive written and oral reports. Ability to organize and conduct meetings and workshops. Knowledge of state and federal personnel laws, policies, and procedures. Must be able to report clear, concise and accurate ad-hoc reports to all levels of leadership. Required Qualifications Bachelor\’s degree in Business Administration, Education, Public Administration, or a related field. 1 year experience in grant management Preferred Requirements Master\’s degree in Business Administration, Education, Public Administration, or a related field. Minimum of 3 years of experience in grant administration, program management, or financial oversight. Experience with educational grants and federal/state funding sources is highly desirable. Additional requirements determined by the agency for recruiting purposes require review and approval by the Arkansas Division of Higher Education.
