Geo-Environmental Engineer

RSK Geosciences is recruiting a Geo-Environmental Engineer to join its team based in Coventry, UK. This full‑time, permanent role offers opportunities for challenging projects, market‑leading training and career progression.

Responsibilities

Run and support Phase I & II geo‑environmental ground investigations across all scales and site types, with senior support as necessary.
Undertake site works using a range of intrusive investigation methods.
Participate in environmental monitoring and incident response visits, providing associated reporting.
Perform soil logging to current UK standards, including laboratory scheduling.

Qualifications & Experience

BSc or equivalent in Geology, Environmental Science or similar.
MSc desirable but not essential.
Working towards Chartered status with a relevant institution.
1–5 years of specific relevant experience.
Good understanding of geology, ground investigation works, contaminated land and geotechnics.
Basic knowledge of planning legislation.
Able to produce factual and interpretative assessments to a basic level.
Able to deliver projects within a multidisciplinary consultancy setting.
Demonstrated ability to manage time, resources and budget effectively.
Full UK driving licence.
