Estimating Assistant – Glasgow

The Role We are seeking an Estimating Assistant to join our commercial team. The role will be full time on a permanent contract, within a fast‑paced environment and will be based at either our Glasgow or Manchester Office. Key Responsibilities Log tenders, allocate enquiry numbers, and download tender documentation. Input bills of quantities and quotes into estimating software (training provided). Manage the supply chain database, issue and coordinate subcontractor and supplier enquiries, and save quotations. Update tender registers, reports, and spreadsheets; follow up with the supply chain. Assist with tender handover documents, regular duties of the Estimating Manager, and preparation/submission of tender returns and PQQs. Perform general administrative tasks. Who We’re Looking For Excellent administrative skills, proficient in Microsoft Office, with strong attention to detail. Ability to meet strict deadlines, prioritise tasks, and work independently or as part of a team. Experience in a similar administrative role within the construction industry.
