Job Purpose

The purpose of this role is to provide insightful, accurate, and impactful dashboards and reporting across the Professional Services (PS) business. This successful candidate will be required to work from our Bracknell office at least 2 days per week.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy BI data solutions across PS by developing data models and pipelines, reports, Power BI dashboards, and KPI scorecards.
• Oversee and create complex tabular models, including SQL database development to store data in a manageable reporting format.
• Gather business analysis and requirements with stakeholders to design the best technical solutions and translate them to the team for development.
• Create automated, sustainable reporting solutions and identify improvements in existing processes to enhance efficiency and reduce technical debt.
• Monitor security in Power BI and incorporate Row Level Security (RLS) into data models.
• Create Power BI Gateways, Workspaces, and Apps, ensuring appropriate access is applied.
• Document processes, database models, and architecture plans.
• Integrate multiple data sets into defined, sustainable solutions to deliver a single source of truth to the business.
• Collaborate with different teams across the business to improve data literacy and empower teams with the right tools, reports, and guidance for better decision-making.

Qualifications

Key Skills and Experience

• Strong experience with MS Power BI & DAX.
• Proficiency in SQL for querying, analysis, and optimization.
• Experience using Microsoft Development tools (Visual Studio) to manage database & BI projects.
• Understanding of best practices for compelling data visualizations & reports.
• Knowledge of industry-standard data warehousing modeling techniques.
• Experience with ETL processes using various data sources.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Understanding of processes, data, and strategic priorities.
• Ability to design solutions that meet user needs, adhering to design and ethics standards.
• Focus on successful product delivery and maintenance planning.

Professional Qualifications and Education

STEM degree preferred, but relevant experience is more critical.
