The Work You’ll Do : This Business Development Representative is responsible for building market demand for Sovos’ solutions and services by arranging sales meetings with potential business prospects. Through networking, sales prospecting, and following up on marketing campaigns, the representative will learn about businesses and educate organizations on Sovos’ solutions. More specifically, you will: Work directly with Sovos’ prospect customers to identify sales opportunities Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly activity targets Achieve pipeline creation and revenue quotas Effectively qualify inbound leads to provide opportunities for the sales team to progress Team with Account Executives to identify and execute territory plans – Execute a formalized business development process Creatively identify and recommend improvements to business development strategies, processes, documents, tools, etc., to benefit Business Development/other internal teams and external prospects Ability to autonomously manage multiple priorities concurrently and actively manage tasks to ensure effective pipeline development What We Need From You: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience Strong team player – identify and execute ideas that will make the Business Development team better Quota experience preferred; demonstrated ability to exceed quotas General understanding of business, financial systems, and organizational decision-making Ability to work with mid/executive level contacts at clients Self-motivated, quick learner Effective internal & external communication skills (written, verbal, and presentation) – ability to give presentations to small or large groups of people Effective planning, organizing, and prioritization Extremely strong multi-tasking Attention to detail Proficiency with contact management solutions, and Microsoft Office suite of tools Ability to be creative as a communicator Can adapt quickly in conversation Can be assertive and persistent Creative problem solving Fluency in German Demonstrates a desire to learn and get better What Does Sovos Offer You?
