A leading global events company is seeking a talented Delegate Sales Executive to join their team and play a key role in the growth of their advanced therapies-focused event portfolio, including an exciting launch event in the Middle East in April 2026. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic and innovative business that places its people at the heart of what it does.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Securing buy-side and vendor attendees for key events over the phone
  • Selling delegate passes to existing and new clients to meet realistic revenue targets
  • Building and maintaining excellent client relationships through a consultative sales approach
  • Identifying new leads and industry sub-sectors for sales, working with your sales leader to identify revenue opportunities
  • Upselling additional delegate places to sponsors and exhibitors
  • Staying up to date with market developments and researching new growth areas
  • Providing accurate and up-to-date information for pipeline, project meetings, and weekly reporting
  • Sharing market intelligence and feedback with the team in a timely manner
  • Always representing the business professionally
  • Attending industry events and VIP functions as needed – international travel is expected

About You:

  • Experience in selling delegate spaces and/or sponsorship/media sales
  • Experience in high-volume media or event sales
  • Evidence of achieving or exceeding sales targets
  • First-class English skills (written and verbal)
  • Strong understanding of the sales cycle
  • Ability to generate new business leads through research and outreach
  • Skilled at prioritising leads to maximise revenue
  • Commercially minded with the ability to spot opportunities
  • Confident building both short- and long-term client relationships
  • Familiarity with Salesforce and Pardot is a plus
  • Industry knowledge is preferable but not essential
