Job Description

Freelance Highcharts Web Developer (Remote / with occasional London meetings)

Location – London based client

We are seeking a talented and experienced freelance web developer with specialized expertise in Highcharts to assist our client with the creation of data visualizations for reports. The team primarily utilizes Everviz as their preferred platform for producing these charts, which are powered by Highcharts.

We are looking for a dedicated Highcharts specialist who can help our client to elevate the quality and complexity of their data presentations.

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement custom data visualizations using Highcharts within the Everviz platform.
Work closely with the team to understand reporting requirements and translate them into effective charts.
Ensure charts are interactive, visually appealing, and optimized for various report formats.
Troubleshoot and refine existing Highcharts implementations.
Provide expertise and best practices related to Highcharts development.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a web developer.
Essential: In-depth, hands-on experience with Highcharts
Familiarity with or willingness to quickly adapt to the Everviz platform
Strong understanding of data visualization principles.
Ability to work independently and manage project timelines effectively.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Project Schedule:

We anticipate consistent work during specific periods, including:

Several weeks between late September – October – November
Several weeks between February – March – April

Beyond these core periods, there will be opportunities for ad-hoc work as needed.

Location:

Hybrid or remote freelance position.

Ideally they would like a freelancer located in a commutable distance for on site meetings in the London office.
