We currently have several permanent or temporary vacancies Monday to Friday on a 52 week contract., This work is about ensuring pupils and staff can return to a clean and safe environment every school day. You will go home each day knowing you have made a difference. No previous experience is required as on the job training is given, working towards The Cleaning Operatives Proficiency Certificate
The Person
You will be required to attend Induction Training before starting in post.
Before confirming to your appointment, you will be required to obtain Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) scheme membership through Disclosure Scotland and become a member of the relevant PVG scheme.

Burntisland Primary School – Cleaner:
- 15 hours per week – 1 post (11:00am to 2:00pm) 52 week permanent contract
Kirkcaldy West Primary School – Cleaner:
- 10 hours per week – 1 post (5:30 pm to 7:30pm) 52 week permanent contract
Fair Isle Family Nurture Centre – Cleaner:

You will earn a competitive salary of £23,783.40 pro-rata and have access to a range of benefits, including:

We pay the Scottish Local Government Living Wage of £12.67 per hour for this post, plus extra payments for shift work, including weekends.

Pay is annualised for 40 week contracts (equal instalments every 4 week pay period).
